I have had the opportunity to take several lessons with Gregg, and he has exposed me to (and helped me learn to play) many different grooves.  When I stumbled on this video, I was again incredibly inspired by Gregg’s groove vocabulary – he is a walking drumming lexicon!  Gregg self admittedly is playing his version of many of the grooves he recommends, and I have done my best to accurately transcribe them because he has often times made them his own  – which is really the point if you want to develop your own sound!
