The Guitarists playing this soli (Don Felder and Joe Walsh of the Eagles) employ a lot of ghosted, muted and guitar centric techniques that are not clearly heard.  This may confuse some beginning readers because they can’t hear some of these techniques when notated as rhythms.  I have found this to actually be a good test to make sure students are not solely focusing on what they hear, but rather training them to trust themseves to play what they see notated.
