Groove Camp

Here you will find four hand outs with many groove examples that I use whenever teaching camps.  Each groove type has 3 different examples to expose new listeners to various approaches to the “same” groove.  Each is  associated with a recording, so that students can listen/play along with each groove to get the right feel and understand the groove context (this helps young drummers start developing good instincts for playing appropriate grooves for any genre of music they go on to play).
