What I Have Learned From Dan:
I can count on 2 things when I get to drum with Dan – he will be solid, and it is sure to be fun! Fun is why we started drumming in the first place, right? Dan unwaveringly reminds me of this when I get to drum with him, because I can see it and hear it when he is performing. But maybe even more inspiring is Dan’s willingness to bend over backwards to help others out. I might feel special from all of the favors he has done for me over the years, if it weren’t for the fact that I have witnessed him readily help others on so many occasions. For me, Dan personifies a quote from one of my favorite authors: “It is literally true that you can succeed best and quickest by helping others” ~ Napoleon Hill
